This is a small nitpick but I don't like how when I open a new tab the browser doesn't automatically let you view it. It still stays focused on the current tab.

EDIT: Wow, but it is very fast!

if you drag the link you want up to the top it automatically switches over and if it's a new blank tab it automatically switches.
middle clicking didn't switch in firefox either.

Mark: opera is too damn clunky (there i said it)

Weird, it now behaves that way for me as well. Problem solved. I still wish the tabs were located lower.

I like that if you open up the Task Manager, it has an option for 'stats for nerds'.

It occasionally spikes up to 50% cpu usage when I'm not even using it and have 1 tab open, continuing with opera until this isn't a piece of shit
does anyone know why this is btw?

I like how it's named after window chrome border thing but there's no way to change its disgusting baby-blue title bar

Upgrade your web browser
We recommend that you upgrade your web browser so you can get the most out of Windows Live Hotmail. Upgrading should only take a few minutes. To get started, choose one of the browsers below:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Mozilla Firefox
Apple Safari
If you don’t want to upgrade right now you can still continue to Windows Live Hotmail, but some parts of it may not work and it may not be displayed properly.

ahahahahahah

Also, someone answer me this:

How long before google releases their own operating system?

How long before we're eating google soylent wafers?

Thursday is google green day.

sounds like they could if they wanted, they've pretty much designed the shell. i don't think they would though, right now microsoft is making TV's while google is making shows, ads, and movies.

does the beta come with the new VM? that's what blew me away in the comic

Ok, Chrome is not as bad as I thought it would be. It looks like an ugly mutant son of Vista and XP but it works nicely, only shows the essential tools giving you a lot of space for the pages themselves and got some cool history and download tabs. Chrome might be a good choice as primary browser if they can get rid off the ugly skin. A better progress bar would be awesome too. I like to know what is going on.

Uhm, this isn't that fast for me. It's about the same as firefox/opera.
It's not that bad, though. It's something fresh. I really hate the skin, since it doesn't match with whatever OS you're using. Firefox 3 fixed that issue, so their browser at least tries its best to match the rest of your desktop. This sticks out way to much for me.

I have to admit though, the way they handle the processes is really good. A separate process for each tab REALLY helps. Nice job there.

What?

The first thing it does when you set it up is import your FireFox bookmarks, passwords, and history.

WRENCH BUTTON -> IMPORT BOOKMARKS.

You're probably using an outdated FireFox.

Using FireFox 3.0, there is.
