I watched The Hangover which was funny as fuck and I laughed at every joke OUT LOUD. That asian guy literally had no penis. Also Mike Tyson sounds like a four year old child.

I also watched I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry which is ok/kinda blows.

Year One - I was hoping to get a few laughs from this but I struggled to watch the whole movie, Jack Black and Michael Cera playing themselves just didn’t work at all.. It worked in Superbad for Michael playing a high school student and Jack Black in School of Rock playing a crazy over the top musician but it just didn’t work for a movie based around the cave-man era., I don’t know how else to explain it… It was just bad!

I agree for the most part.  I got pretty much what I expected after I saw the trailers, but it was still disappointing that Harold Ramis directed it (although I did enjoy some of Michael Cera's lines).  And come on, you put Paul Rudd in a movie and only use him for like 30 seconds?  Ridiculous...


Hmm, I'm not really sure where all The Happening hate comes from.  I agree, it's not a good movie.  Considering how good I know that M. Night, Mark Wahlberg, and Zooey Deschanel can be, it definitely should have been a lot better; but I think it's still fairly entertaining, especially if you can get into the weird B-movie atmosphere.


Also, saw Transformers 2.  It's enjoyable, the two idiot ghetto Autobots notwithstanding.

The clip I saw had people running away from wind.  Do you remember in The Day After Tomorrow when they're running away from ice?  Do you remember how stupid that was?

Absolutely not.  The ghetto-bots and Megan Fox discuss philosophy for 150 minutes.  It's a good ride.

Just watched Transformers 2, must say I was disappointed with it.. I mean it had some fun moments but I just didn’t like the ghetto twin autobots and that old grandpa robot with the walking stick who at one point actually farted out his parachute, also im unsure why he had a British accent.
I didn’t like some of the cheesy dialogue used either:
-"how do you know its going to work"
-"because I Believe!"
im pretty sure this was out of the Matrix.

1. john turturro looks up and devastator is above him with two wrecking balls hanging between it's legs
2. shia lebouf gets killed by megatron and goes to transformers heaven where the primes tell him it's not his time and send him back
3. wheelie humps megan foxes leg

I too saw it and it was even more over the top and cheesy then typical Transformers that I remember. And i'm from the country with "Beasties" so it's a petty difficult feat to achieve.

i feel like this is one of those things that will make or break the movie, and you need to know about it before paying $9 to see the movie.

just saw Serenity after watching through Firefly, it was a really good movie and didn't really feel like a longer version of an episode or anything. the one thing i loved about the series was that every episode felt pretty meaningful to the story, and the movie tied up a couple ends and brought some closure to the whole thing really effectively.

now i just wish there was more of it :[

The Happening was really terrible, and not just "bad for M Night standards" (The Village would probably apply there), but it was bad in general. The entertainment comes from how horrible the movie is, and gets worse as the "story" progresses.

Yeah, I guess I can see that, but I still think it was better than Lady in the Water (and certainly more entertaining than The Village, though you're right, it probably wasn't technically "better").

well....... it is funny. especially when that guy says "and he didn't even cum inside of her....... she is disgusted by semen"
