Perhaps you can work out a translated version after it's finished. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

The design of that was this. A couple years ago I was like I need an enemy graphic! So I used charas to make the most ridiculous charset ever, this green cloaked bird with wings.

Then I made this crappy battlegraphic for it

which led to the new one:

lol, before and after, I should do comparison pics once I finish all of the clay remakes of the enemies.

Am I the only one that thinks the clay enemies stick out way too much and look bad in such a low resolution? It'd be different if everything was clay or at least a high resolution, but you're mixing clay, photos, and low-res sprites and that doesn't look good.

I like the clay enemies. Although the calculator looks better handdrawn for some reason.

Yeah I agree, I'll probably redo him.

No, other people have said that. Personally I don't care whether the graphics clash I hate when people say that.
It looks better in the game I think, because these pictures are blown up twice their size.
I would redraw the enemies instead of clay but I suck at drawing.
At this point I have too many animations for the party members that I cant do them out of clay.

So far this sceene has: particles(hard to see here) meshes, objects, textures, terrains, skybox, fog, light sources, music, collision, simple GUI.

That doesn't look half bad Sanosuke. But you should have more variety in the trees.

Ok this is the new suits screen. from left to right top to bottom:

Bare, Sumo, Chicken, Fart Mage, Doctor, Wolf, Brettron 9000, Arnold, and Jesus suits. It's kind of annoying how RPG Maker doesn't have the system I want built in. Basically, each suit has its own level, and abilities are learned as its leveled up. There is a way around this, using variables to store both each hero's stats before the suit change, and the suit's stats when you change back. Its tedious, but I can do it.

Oh, and disregard the rock and "1". Those are for testing purposes and to remind me to delete those events when I'm done.

Sumo suit in battle. "Dosukoi" raises self attack,
"Gochan Desu" recovers self HP. "Dosukoi" Is a sumo expression, I have no idea what it means. E Honda says it in Street Fighter when he wins a battle. It's a stereotypical sumo thing. So is "Gochan Desu" When you finish a meal in Japan, it's polite to say "Gochisousama (desu)" or just"gochisou"
meaning that was a good meal. it literally means feast. Gochan Desu is an abbreviation used by old men or tough people like sumos, I guess.

Thanks man, yours doesnt look half bad itself.
So this time you can sorta see the particles, I also figured out how to add various textures to the terrain, grass, and  a more realistic building method which I guess u cant see in the pic.
