how's your valve ignatius?
'ard as nails! I haven't chucked-up in over four years! That said, the aforementioned scene in Revolutionary Road was putting it through its paces.
And how come no-one's mentioned
The Green Mile yet? I refuse to watch it from start to finish, for the simple reason that I know my ducts'll stream 'til they're completely parched come the closing credits.
Also, speaking of Stephen King adaptations...
There's
The Mist, of which I've only seen the monster scenes and the ending (at the time it didn't look as though it would get a release here in the UK). I mean c'mon,
the guy kills his entire family to spare them from the horrors outside, then finds out just seconds later that the mist was clearing and his mercy killings were committed needlessly. Whoever wrote that ending (King, Darabont or a third party screenwriter) is one sadistic bastard.
It had rather the same effect on me as Oldboy's ending. Which reminds me, I should revisit the
Vengeance Trilogy soon.
