Did you guys see Metaknight at the end of the super recovery video? His recovery is extremely long.

I think that's just because of his glide right?

Theoretically any of the glide character should be able to do that with the momentum they build up flying straight down.

Also, does anybody know about the PT's effects of using one pokemon for two long? The last I heard nobody has noticed anything.

I heard they get slower and look tired out around the two-minute mark.

Yep. They start to look tired, and exhausted, and I believe they're power is diminished somewhat.

Ok what. Glide characters seem to be the cheapest thing ever.

I keep on hearing people talking about missile canceling not being in this game, and I hadn't really heard of it til now, youtube searched it, and came across this:

Yeah but there are so many cheap characters/ recoveries that it's almost balanced in a sense.

Funny. There's a slim chance of DLC for Brawl.

Yeah, it was confirmed a while ago. I don't know why so many people think it's gone. That guy sucks at missile cancelling though. He does it way too early.

Here is a fun bit of trivia.

Apparently they changed Snake's mine to something less realistic in the final game.

Now it looks like a giant button thing.

Sarhan, I'd like to hear why you think DLC is unlikely in Brawl since you probably know the most about it.  I'm not aware of all the reasoning behind it.

I have another question for Belross!
Thanks for answering my last one, but how does play?
Is he still a clone?

The only thing that's really changed about him is his up and side B-moves. There are probably some other minor differences, and he seems ever so slightly faster, but for the most part he just LOOKS a lot different. Still hits like a beast though.

Really? A beast, you say. That's very good. I stuck with him in Melee, mostly. Hopefully, I'll still be able to kick ass with him in Brawl.
Oh, 1 more question. I swear!
How about DeDeDe? When they revealed him, I wanted to know! He looks like a slow and powerful character.
Again, thanks.

Dedede is definitely the slowest, but the most powerful, character (the head of his mallet is bigger than Kirby himself.) I read somewhere that he can KO Mario from the center of FD at 30%, and I believe it. Almost all his moves have immense wind-up and lag, but they hit VERY hard. His down-B is cool, too; it starts to charge his rocket hammer, and you can hold the animation as long as you like while moving and jumping until you are ready to release it. His up-B is like Bowser's, except it throws off little stars that can hit people like Yoshi's up-B. So basically he is slower, more powerful, and has longer reach and more recovery than Bowser.

As far as I know, the Wii doesn't have enough memory to support a ton of DLC. Characters take up a nice chunk of memory so that's out of the window. That's why you can't download stages made by others and submitted for the daily stage thing they have planned. That's also why you'll need an SD card if you plan on building a lot of stages of your own.

@Belross: All of those "X can kill Mario at Y% at the center of final destination" things are based off of Mario just standing there and not DIing or trying to get back on to the stage. It just basically shows how much percentage Mario needs to have before the move can potentially knock him off the stage (and I believe the move has to be fully charged in case of a smash attack).

Oh, and quick questions for you. I heard that Ganondorf's warlock punch grants him super armor and Captain Falcon can change the direction of his falcon punch mid charge. Are these rumors true?

EDIT: Nevermind the Captain Falcon thing. Just saw a vid showing it works.

The Samus is cancelling the missiles pretty high off the ground. You can cancel them a lot lower in Melee, unless this player just sucks.
