i'm watching King of the Hill. This show is genius. All the voice actors are brilliant and the writing is awesome. I'm watching season 2 right now and I'm planning on just watching up to 4 or 5, because after that I think kind of goes downhill? I know Mike Judge left for a while around season 5 but came back later. I dunno velfarre do you have any seasons after 4 or 5 that are MUST WATCH? Are they all really good?
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

Watch all of it.  For me it didn't really start going downhill until season 8 or 9, but I enjoyed pretty much every episode.  It is a great show.

*shrugs* is the information that you've gathered from that post really shocking?

Also, I had a weird dream, had a nice office, then got sick, then dream ended with what I can only assume was a nuke going off.

Bright light, then half a second later I was pushed back, quarter of a second later I was awake. I hate nuke dreams.

back in May I planted a rain garden (greenified term meaning a planted area that helps mitigate stormwater) on my parents' property. I had thought about making a topic comparing the experience to sim games, how I started with a budget to pick the best plants for the job, prepared the soil, planted them, watched as they grew and flowered and got populated by flies and bees and slowly soaked up the excess water from the undesired places. it was pretty neat honestly, and this coming from a person who had previously kinda hated the idea of gardening as it is typically represented in America, all these perfectly-arranged ugly non-native annuals next to ugly, shaped shrubs in an ugly dyed mulch pit. but this was neat.

welp apparently a couple nights ago someone plowed their car straight through the garden (which sits between two clumps of trees, in a channel that runs perpendicular to the road), backed back over it, plowed through the milkweeds I was planning to transplant later to get out because they couldn't get back up the slope to the road, and drove off. that never happened in rollercoaster tycoon

edit I haven't seen it so I dunno how bad it is, but my mom said all but "maybe" the grasses are absolutely dead

building shit is fun

I been learning alot of carpentry at work which is pretty cool (you can learn to make pretty much anything out of wood) but I don't think I'd really want to ever bother growing anything but weed and that didn't work out too well for my kin in the past so fuck that. Theres this old ass hillbilly I work with named joey and he teaches me all kinds of cool shit as far as using tools your not supposed to to finish a job or jerry rig the shit out of stuff to make it work. Its pretty useful though because a big part of seamanship is learning how to make whatever you need work or modifying stuff. Like making rugs with rope or various furniture out of plywood.

I was thinking of this game that I remember being posted here a while back(probably a matter of years), and I can't seem to recall the name of it. It was hardly a game in the traditional sense of what a game actually is, but it only lasted about a minute and it consisted of controlling a tiny pixelated character to walk across the screen until he grew up, courted with a female, until you eventually grew old together and died. It wasn't particularly amazing but id like to download it again just for the hell of it. Is anyone familiar with this at all?

Passage wasn't a game. It was hardly even an interesting thing (for me at least) to watch.

Also it was fucking depressing to me for various reasons.

Passage was alright. If it had been shortened to maybe two minutes instead of 5 it would have been better though. Sleep is Death (by the same guy) kicks a lot of ass though.
